Going to Jersey

This is not our picture, our pictures are better than this.

We are taking a (relatively) quick ferry ride to Jersey this weekend. Think beaches, cows and St Helier, not turnpikes, the Sopranos and Newark. It is a Brittish Crown Dependency (not an actual part of the UK) off of the north coast of France. Apparently it is the best of both worlds, loving both a good croissant in the morning and a nice spot of tea in the afternoon. We will be sure to update you with photos of our shenanigans when we get back on Monday. Unfortunately I do not believe there will be a fireworks display this weekend, but who knows, maybe we can convince them to declare independence tomorrow and celebrate with us.
